Verification

LSSiDATA processes support an ability to successfully certify to a number of quality standards. Some examples include:

CASS Certified - Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS®) is used by the US Postal Service™ to verify the accuracy of contact information within a mailing list. A defined contact list must be checked against the USPS Address Matching System (AMS) to verify addresses with their correct 11-digit Delivery Point ZIP code. A 98.5% or higher match rate for ZIP + 4 codes and carrier route numbers, and 100% for delivery point bar code extension numbers must be achieved in order to receive CASS certification. CASS certified lists provide a mailing rate discount to direct marketers. LSSiDATA provides CASS certified data.

DPV Certified - The Postal Service™ Delivery Point Validation (DPV®) database is a table for checking the validity of any known individual house, apartment, Post Office™ box, rural box, mail drop, or commercial address that receives mail. Without DPV, the ZIP + 4 database is only capable of confirming whether addresses fall within the "low to high" address ranges specified in ZIP + 4 records. For example, "100 to 198 (even) MAPLE AVE" is a typical house number range listed in the ZIP + 4 database, and any even house number in that range will match that ZIP + 4 record, whether or not the address is a valid Postal Service delivery point. LSSiDATA provides DPV certified data.
